Trusting Your Dentist: Everything You Need to Know About Why You Are in Good Hands

If you’re feeling nervous about your next appointment with the dentist, it may help to know you are in good hands when you visit our North York practice. Here’s what you need to know about why you can trust us.

Why should you trust your dentist? Here's why you're in good hands

Our North York dentists want you to be confident in our people and practices at 5000 Yonge Dental. Here are some reasons patients put their trust in us.

We’re an established practice

We have years of experience in treating our multicultural community here in North York. We strive to provide an excellent experience for our patients, offer a comprehensive range of services, and are open at convenient hours for working families. You can tell our team loves what we do.

Our dentist is trained and qualified

Dr. Atefeh Ehteshamfar is our dentist here at 5000 Yonge Dental. She has practiced general dentistry for nearly 10 years and is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and the Canadian Dental Association.

Dentists in Ontario need a four-year bachelor’s degree from a university and take mandatory science courses. They also attend an accredited dental school and are required to meet testing requirements. They must be licensed to practice dentistry in Canada.

Along with her academic education, Dr. Ehteshamfar regularly attends dental seminars to help improve patient outcomes, with predictable results. She also uses modern dental technology and techniques to help ensure your comfort in the dentist’s chair.

We are responsive to patients’ needs and concerns

Whether you’re visiting our practice for the first time or are a regular patient, you may have some questions about your oral health care, treatment options or specific processes or policies. No matter the question, Dr. Ehteshamfar or our friendly staff will probably be able to answer it - or help you find the answer.

We make your comfort a priority

Sometimes patients suffer from dental anxiety or experience dental emergencies. We can take measures to manage both of these situations, help ensure you feel calm and relaxed during each appointment, and reassure you that you’re in good hands. Dr. Ehteshamfar has training and experience in managing dental emergencies, and we’re able to offer dental sedation (laughing gas) for patients with dental anxiety.
